ASSISTANT YARD MANAGER
A remarkable opportunity has arisen for an experienced Yard Manager to join a growing organisation to help manage the daily operations in Botany.
A well-known company within the Transport & Logistics sector; the business is growing at a rapid rate and you and your team will need to keep up with the pace! Being a hands-on Manager you will lead your small team by leading from the front and by getting involved in all aspects of the bonded yard.

Responsibilities will include but won't be limited to:
• Drive the yard and manage the team of approximately 30 people
• Implementing new systems and processes to maximise daily productivity of the staff.
• Checking and completing time cards.
The ideal candidate will possess:
• 5 years + Yard Management experience
• Experience managing a team
• Forklift licence
• A hands-on, no nonsense approach
• Loyalty, passion and commitment

JUNIOR BOND CLERK
We are situated in Botany and we are a medium-sized company that is growing. We have a Quarantine Approved Depot and are currently looking for a self-motivated person with at least 3yrs exp.
Core competencies and skills
• High level of customer service skills
• Ability to deal with customers in a professional manner
• Strong can do attitude
• Data entry and computer literacy skills
• Attention to detail
Excellent telephone etiquette accompanied by the means to interact with customers in a professional manner.
Responsibilities, roles and tasks
• Liaise with Australian Customs (staff and clients), Australian Quarantine (staff and clients) and truck drivers
• Experience using EDI
• Tally input information into computer, send outturn to client in a timely manner
• Check paper work, print gate pass and storage receipts (collect money if needed or required)
• Maintain AQIS documentation/records
• Liaise with clients to obtain LOA (letter of authority) for treatment of cargo, EDO (electronic delivery order) for transportation of containers from the wharf to the depot, FAK (freight of all kind) manifests to assist with the unpack of containers.
• Liaise with various transport companies
• Register tailgate information, fumigation, unpacks, and LCL. If needed or required making sure correct stickers are used for services carried out in depot and label cargo from other depots whilst in the yard.
Salary $45-50K + Super

WASH BAY ATTENDANT
Wash Bay staff are required for an extremely busy quarantine approved Wash Bay in Botany.
Good working conditions with a good and stable employer, applicants do need to be hard-working.
Mechanically minded people with experience will be preferred.
