He or she will ask you about what you need to store, how long you will need a storage container, and what accessories and modifications you may need. The more information you can provide, the better we can assist you!
Q. How soon can my storage container be delivered?
A. Generally we can often deliver within 24 hours of ordering. Delivery time depends on our availability, the number of storage and shipping containers you need and what kind of accessories or modifications you may require. Your Price & Speed contact person will give you a definite delivery date and time when you place your order.
Q. How are storage and shipping containers delivered?
A. We deliver and install your storage and shipping containers directly to your nominated site, usually by either tilt-tray or side-loading truck. The selected delivery method largely dependents on your specific location, ease of access etc. Your Price & Speed representative will discuss and confirm your exact delivery requirements and timing when you place your order.
Q. How much does delivery cost?
A. Delivery and pick-up costs depend on where you need your storage container delivered to. Your Price & Speed representative will give you an exact figure before you place your order.
Q. What if I don't need my rented storage container anymore?
A. Simply Price & Speed. We will arrange prompt pick-up from your specified location.
Q. How will I be invoiced for my rented storage container(s)?
A. One months rental (or the total charges for a shorter hire period) including all transport charges is due at the time of delivery. For rental periods greater than one month, subsequent monthly invoices will be sent to you on a one month billing cycle. Payment can be made by credit card, direct debit or cheque.
Q. How do I pay if I purchase a storage container?
A. Payment is required at the time of delivery or pick-up. Payment can be made by bank or company cheque, cash or credit card.
Q. What size are Price & Speed storage and shipping containers?
A. Our standard portable storage and shipping containers are available in 5 lengths; 2m, (6 feet), 2.5m (8 feet), 3m (10 feet), 6m (20 foot) and 12m (40 foot). All standard units are 2.4m (8 feet) wide and 2.6m (8 feet) high. Alternate sizes can be custom-built to your exact specifications.
Q. What kinds of accessories or modifications can I get on my storage container?
A. Price & Speed can fit virtually any accessory and/or perform any modification on any of our portable storage and shipping containers, just ask!
Q. How much do modifications & accessories cost?
A. This naturally depends on what you're having done. Your Price & Speed representative can give you an exact quote before you place your order.
Q. What colour storage and shipping containers are available?
A. Price & Speed portable storage and shipping containers generally come in 3 colours: Dark Green, Red Oxide and Grey, whilst our Refrigerated and Coolroom containers are generally painted blue. Customised painting and/or sign-writing can easily and economically be arranged. Just tell your Price & Speed representative what you have in mind.
Q. How secure are Price & Speed portable storage and shipping containers?
A. Price & Speed portable storage and shipping containers are built tough from heavy gauge corrosion resistant steel. All containers are fully lockable, weather and vermin proof. For additional security we can fit our special Lock Box system, that further protects your container's contents. In addition, window guards can be installed on any of our accommodation and site-office units.
Q. Do I need council permission?
A. storage and shipping containers are not considered permanent fixtures so council permission is generally not required. If you are in doubt, and given that each council has its own rulings, it may pay to give your local council a courtesy call.
