Igloo Shelters & Sheds: details

Our Igloo Shelters are multipurpose structures, made from a curved structural steel framework covered by a unique PVC coated fabric, rather than the traditional PE tarpaulin or pure PVC material. Our unique material is very hard-wearing and completely weatherproof and UV resistant and the steel framework is powder coated to give it a long lasting, durable finish.

To ensure that our Igloo Shelters have been engineered to the highest of standards, and that all safety requirements are met, we have had our Igloo Shelter inspected by an Engineer who has conducted an “Independent Design Verification”.

The Igloo Shelters can tolerate extreme temperatures from as low as -30°C to as high as 70°C and they can be completely open or fully enclosed by adding optional, partial or full end walls.

The Igloo Shelters are available in a wide range of sizes, from 6m in width to 21m, and the length is almost infinite.

The design of the Igloo Shelter allows not only for an efficient and inexpensive alternative, but makes them very easy to set up, dismantle and relocate. This is ideal for anyone looking for portable shelters, roofing or temporary cover solutions.

This is due to the bolt on rail system, which is used to mount the shelter to the top rail of a standard shipping container, using a standard twist lock mechanism which is fitted to each end of the mounting rail. All that is required are a few bolts along the mounting rail to securely fix it to the container, which eliminates the need for welding.

When you purchase an Igloo Shelter, it will come complete with all fittings, bolts and components. A detailed set of installation instructions are also supplied, allowing you to easily setup the shelter yourself, saving on installation costs. Alternatively, if required we will happily provide you with a quote for installation, and install the shelter for you if you wish. Just ask one of our friendly sales representatives for a price.
